Invest in Canada is looking for a Partner Portal Officer to oversee Invest in Canada’s partner platform, InfoZone. Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence, the Officer is responsible for developing and managing content delivery to ensure its accuracy and relevance to key stakeholders. The Officer analyzes site analytics for product and software development, actively contributing to driving user engagement. The position also ensures new users are trained in how to effectively use the tool to capitalize on its benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to the following:
- Develops and updates the content and services provided through Invest in Canada’s partner portal platform, InfoZone, to ensure information is updated and relevant for key stakeholders.
- Collaborates with internal teams, including the Federal Partnerships and National Engagement teams, to better understand stakeholder needs and ensure the platform is meeting their requirements.
- Analyzes and interprets metrics and data to inform further product development.
- Monitors operational systems and processes, recommending solutions for improvement and to implement relevant efficiencies.
- Coordinates and produces regular communication for the InfoZone audience to provide updates on new content, etc.
- Provides support to the Business Platforms team, as necessary, in managing the platform.
- Provides training to new internal and external uses of the InfoZone platform.
- Liaises with internal teams including Invest in Canada’s leadership team to share information and ensure the success of InfoZone.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Social Sciences or in a related field.
- 2-3 years of technical experience
- Excellent ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven mindset; aptitude for learning new technologies/tools and databases.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, global environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent internal and external verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, including experience in configuration, customization and administration of SharePoint environments.
- Ability to develop and update business and system processes.
- Knowledge of Foreign Direct Investment and current business trends considered an asset.
- Ability to travel to Ottawa (2 times per year).
